Bakers & Us was established on April 27, 1985 by founder Gerry Miller. Gerry familiarized himself with the baking industry for over a decade before setting up shop on his own. And so, Bakers & Us was born of a need for an ingredient’s supplier, that put relationships with clients at the forefront of its business model, in the Greater Toronto Area.
The first warehouse was set up in the Rexdale/Etobicoke area of Toronto and, many moves later dispenses their brand of service to bakers in the GTA, from our warehouse in Mississauga. With the help of his wife and partner, Marilyn, they serviced the area for 30 years. Over that time, their reach stretched to Barrie, Brantford and Oshawa, while still maintaining a level of service that was considered courteous, friendly and timely.
"Friends in Business" was, is and continues to be the way in which the client is cared for. It has been the focus of Bakers & Us and will continue to be the barometer with which we are measured.
In January 2015, Bakers & Us extended the "family" by partnering with Rudolph Sales, an ingredient distributor, active in Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City. Now again, in February 2022, Bakers & Us became part of the BakeMark group of distributors. More products, same great service.
